It has been said that to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results is one definition of insanity.
I started painting the same scene at La Jolla Cove on Thanksgiving 2009.
I completed 100 paintings of the same scene in July 2010. Each one is a little different. The last usually better than the first. This site is all those first 100 paintings.
My ritual was to complete each painting in the morning and then head off to the cubicle for a day of coding. It was my pleasure and still is a pleasure to visit and paint La Jolla Cove.
